3 Shows get AXED!

No More Dirty Sexy Money, Pushing Daisies or Eli Stone:

ABC confirms that the 13 episodes of each show will be their last. Pushing Daisies has already filmed all 13 episodes and DSM is in the process of filming it's 13th episode. There is always a slim chance that if the ratings improve dramatically on the last few episodes that they could get picked up but highly unlikely. The good news maybe we will receive some closure for each series. And like I mentioned earlier the producer of Pushing Daisies will finish off the story in a form of comic books! I am a sad sad girl bc I love Dirty Sexy Money!!!

Cancelled!!

To my loyal readers once again I have become very lazy with my postings. I am trying to play catch up so make sure you read ALL the new postings!!

TV Round UP: (see what shows have already been cancelled)

It's that time of year where new shows are getting eliminated or picked up for a full season. Also we are finding out what shows are on the bubble of getting cancelled if not mid-season, after this year. Here is what we know so far:
Cancelled:

Lip Stick Jungle
My Own Worst Enemy
Do Not Disturb
Easy Money
The Ex List
Opportunity Knocks
Valentine

Saved for the season:
90210
Fringe
Kath & Kim (I have no idea why, I think this show is ridiculous)
Knight Rider
Life
The Mentalist
Private Practice
Terminator

On the Bubble: (this is where it gets bad)

Pushing Daisies
Crusoe
Dirty Sexy Money
Eli Stone
Eleventh Hour
Gary Unmarried
Life of Mars
Prison Break
Privileged
Worst Week

There are a lot of great shows on this list and I hope they are picked up for another season.

All the info I know

Pushing Daisies has completed all 13 of its season two episodes which may be “all she wrote”. Series creator says he may finish out the stories in comic books.
Privileged: The show is one of MANY new shows on the CW, the freshman show is super cheesy but is held together by a very lovable main character, Megan. The show will try out a Monday time slot in December (I am assuming it will take the spot of One Tree Hill or Gossip Girl for a couple weeks to see if it can pull in some of their viewers.)

Prison Break: Basically this show has outlasted what any critics thought it would given the original plot line (what happens after they break out of prison??) Well this season has done better thus far then last season but may still wrap up Michael’s journey in 2009.

Eli Stone: The only word I get on this is TV only has so much room for courtroom shows and this one isn’t pulling in the viewers like Boston Legal does.

Dirty Sexy Money: The people that watch this show LOVE IT but there just isn’t enough of them.

A small piece of positive news is that since the economy is doing so poorly shows won’t be axed so quickly because it is more costly to start up a new production than to continue on with a current one. Basically I read this like if the show isn’t doing HORRIBLE they will probably keep it :)

BACK FOR A FIFTH SEASON:

The Hills will be back for a 5th season even after most of the stars of the show denied it for a while and said they were done with the show. Apparently MTV offered them enough money to make it worth their wild.

Grey's Anatomy:
Ok so I just watched last week's episode last night and let me tell you that I am not a big fan of the Denny story line... Why?? Well a couple reasons it is unrealistic for him to be back (which I don't believe he is) and the other possible plot line is that Izzy is hallucinating which makes me sad for her and for Alex bc every girl he is with ends up a little crazy. I am interested to see how this plot line plays out because Shondra is a good writer I will have a little faith but it is going to be a tough one. Next weeks episode looks super intense with them trying surgery on one of the other interns, are they crazy???

90210

Lost:
Michelle Rodriguez "Ana Lucia" will return in the second episode of Lost this season. She will only be appearing in one episode so most likely it will be a flash back of some sort...TV Guide thinks a Hurley flash back. Ana Lucia's life was cut short after she was charged with a DUI in Hawaii during filming, however writers say that Ana Lucia's character was always planned to be a short lived one.

Prison Break:
This season Michael Scofield is losing the tattoo that he has had since season 1.... In season three of the show Michael wore long sleeves the entire season so they didn't have to paint on the tattoo for every show (he was really hot the entire season wearing long sleeves in MEXICO). So sometime during this season Michael is going to go to the doctor to get rid of the tattoo (I think to help better disguise himself from the company). YAY just a few more days!!!!

Here Come the Newlyweds is Back!

At the end of last season I reported that Here Come the Newlyweds was canceled...I obviously read this somewhere, but ABC has picked up the show for a second season... It will air mid-season. No official premiere date has been announced but probably sometime between Jan-March.

90210: GREAT NEW COVER!!!
This picture just got me so excited and ready for the new season!!!

Ok so Luke Perry has been denying that he would appear on the spin-off since they announced it but is that really true? Or does he have a price??? Recent rumors are that Luke "Dylan" might appear in a late episode this season. Apparently Kelly has a four year old son in the spin-off and none other than Dylan is the father.... Dylan will come back later to try to fix the relationship with mother & son..... I really hope this happens I will be so happy :)

It's Been Too Long

Sorry it has been so long since the last update.... It has been a crazy couple weeks!

Take a look at the official Fall Line Up for the major networks:
http://community.tvguide.com/blog-entry/TVGuide-Editors-Blog/Tv-Mattrs/Fall-Tv-Schedule/800039493

Men in Trees: returns this Wednesday for its FINAL three episodes.. this is your chance to get some closure on the show.

90210 - the previews to this show definitely have me intrigued...I am sure it will be another OC type of show...which I do love. Tori Spelling is set to reprise her role as "Donna Martin" for guest appearences on the new show this fall!
http://community.tvguide.com/blog-entry/TVGuide-News-Blog/Todays-News/Tori-Spelling-90210/800040428

David Cook and Kimberly Caldwell (American Idol season 2) went on a date...David Cook confirmed this on Regis and Kelly Tuesday morning. He says "They'll probably hang out again." I don't have a comment on this at the moment.
http://www.usmagazine.com/david-cook-goes-on-date-with-ex-idol-kimberly-caldwell

Josiah Lemming signs a record deal and calls AI glorified karaoke. This is probably true but he probably should just keep his mouth shut given the fact that the only reason he got a record deal is because of his exposure on American Idol. I believe he is young and just learning how to deal in hollywood. I am excited for his album.

In other news with past American Idol contestants...Sanjaya is filming a commerical for Nationwide...I guess he decided to take a turn off the singing route. This is probably very wise.

List of canceled shows on the link below: Included on the list October Road, Las Vegas, Oprahs Big Give, Big Shots, Cashmere Mafia, Here Comes the Newlyweds, Girlfriends, Beauty and the Geek, Pussycat Dolls Presents, 1 vs 100 and many more!

Now on to what is on TV right now:

So you think you can dance: I love love love this show and am so pumped about it being on. Last week they had the two hour premeire!!! I already have some favorites: Robert being at the top of my list. The show airs episode 2 tonight from 7-9 on fox.

LOST: the two hour finale of Lost airs tomorrow night (Thursday)...I am so ready! I hope that it is as good as they have built it up to be. I can't wait to find out how those 6 end up together and safe... And the big question on my mind where is Sawyer??? And where is he now?? (my guess still on the Island, I think they "move" the Island and so no one can find it anymore since it isn't at those exact cordinates)...Just a guess though. Can't wait!!!!

The Bacherlorette: Ok so one thing I really love about this season is that the guys are staying in that cabin kind of area and that each week three guys get to go live with her, it kind of mixes things up. Right now I am liking Graham the best. And I am not sure why everyone is harping on Jeremy so much, I don't think he has done anything crazy. My least favorite right now is Twilly... What are your thoughts and comments????

Denise Richards: It's Complicated: Ok so I was intrigued by this show and now I am hooked. I don't even really like Denise Richards and she makes me like her less in the show but it is so interesting to watch. I know I shouldn't.

Living Lohan: I was somewhat intrigued but this show, I must admit I would have been more intrigued if Lindsay was actually on the show but still I found myself watching it. I don't think this show will go on my TiVo though, I didn't find them interesting enough to watch weekly.

Shows to look out for this Summer:

MTV Movie Awards this Sunday June 1 at 7 on MTV

Legally Blonde "The Musical": The Search for the Next Elle Woods: This has potential to be a good show especially if you like dance/singing reality shows. It premeires on MTV June 2 at 9.

The Mole: Premeires Thursday June 2 on ABC at 8.

Army Wives: Premieres Sunday June 8 at 9 on Lifetime.

Weeds: Premieres Monday June 16 at 9pm on showtime.

Americas Next Best Dance Crew: Premieres Thursday June 19 at 9pm on MTV

Big Brother 10: Premieres July 13 at 7pm on CBS

The Closer: Premieres July 14 at 8pm on TNT

Tuesday, May 13

In the news the last few days:

TV:

Canceled shows: ( I am super sad)
October Road (I guess we will never know forsure who Sam's father is...Nick? Eddie?) :(
Womens Murder Club
Aliens in America
Back to You
New Amsterdam

On the brighter side Eli Stone has been renewed! (I know there are some die hard fans out there)

Desperate Housewives: We are going to have to wait until next season to find out if Edie is returning to Wisteria Lane...maybe in the 5 year flash-forward we will see Edie....Hmmmm...
http://www.etonline.com/news/2008/05/61574/index.html

Megan Mullaly (Karen- Will & Grace) has signed on to play Alicia Silverstones Mom in Bad Mothers Handbook. I am now very intrigued by this show.
http://community.tvguide.com/blog-entry/TVGuide-Editors-Blog/Ausiello-Report/Ausiello-Scoop-Megan/800039453

If you love it don't miss it.... Scrubs is moving to ABC for it's final season. If you are confused at all by this please click the link below for more information.

Late Night: Fallon is taking over for Conan when Conan takes over for Jay...
http://www.etonline.com/news/2008/05/61589/index.html

American Idol: This week the contestants will sing a song of their own choice, a song chosen by the judges and a song chosen by the producers. This is actually usually my favorite night because I think it offers a little variety and they usually make good choices.... Maybe the judges or producers will pick a song that David A. will not do well on. But at this point I kind of want him to win bc I think it is better for David Cook not to win...so whatever.

David A.: Well it finally happened David's dad got banned for all future idol rehearsals. Apparently the version of "Stand By Me" that David performed was not approved by idol due to the lyrics from "Beautiful Girls" incorporated. This cost idol a bunch of money...(I am assuming this song was not approved to use on Idol)...but David's dad wanted him to do it anyways...Poor David!

It's official Jeannie Garth has signed on to be part of the new 90210 spin off. Jeannie "Kelly" will appear in a recurring role as the Guidance Counselor at the West Beverly High School. YAY I love me some Jeannie Garth/Kelly Taylor.
http://community.tvguide.com/blog-entry/TVGuide-Editors-Blog/Ausiello-Report/Jennie-Garth-Joins/800039315

Boston Legal is gearing up for a fifth season! (It has been re-newed)
http://community.tvguide.com/blog-entry/TVGuide-News-Blog/Todays-News/Fall-Tv-Boston/800039357

CBS adds six new shows to there fall line up. The only thing that really excites me about this is that Elizabeth Reaser (known by most as "Ava/Jane Doe/Rebecca" on Grey's Anatomy) has signed on with "The Ex List" which I am assuming means no more "Ava" on Grey's...Which I like bc once again I am a huge Izzie and Alex supporter!!!!

The Hills: Ok so once again even in the finale they didnt really show any more in the episode than they did in the preview, except Spencer and Heidi making amends (I guess?) but we all new that was coming due to the headlines EVERYDAY!!! Anyways did anyone notice how on the aftershow Lo and Audrina were never together and they kept them apart....hmmmmm. Makes me wonder if those issues still really haven't been settled. But it seems like Lauren has stayed friends with them both. Anyways ofcourse the preview got me super excited for next season but that doesn't start until August 18.

The Bachelorette...Not even taking a week break from the Bachelor before the Bachelorette begins... interesting... DeAnna is going to be searching for her soul mate starting Monday!!

This Weeks Finale's:
Brothers & Sisters was last night (if you missed it than you missed some major drama...I will discuss later but give more people a chance to catch up first).
