I have gotten very behind on my blog in general but especially on several of my shows out there, let me take a minute to catch up!
Gossip Girl Spin Off – “Lily”
The Spin-off is in full swing. Casting is going great for the show so far they have had several great people sign on for the show:Lily will be played by Britney Snow (American Dreams)
I don’t watch this show but much like many other viewers I tuned into to see the heartbroken Melissa dance. Melissa did a great job given that she only had two days to rehearse, I definitely think Melissa is going to last a while in the competition. I believe it will be harder for her later in the season when some of the “Bachelor” drama dies down. I don’t think I will be watching again because this show irritates me, I am not invested in any of the people on the show and I don’t think they are very good dancers.
Melrose place is also in full swing with casting. So far they have cast:
I am going to start listing them in order from best performance to worst performance of the night as I critique them:
1. Adam
Let me preface by saying I am NOT an Adam fan and I was NOT blown away by his performance if anything it made me so angry! The judges praise Adam as if he was actually Michael Jackson, I am so annoyed by the OVER praise they give him. However all that being said if I just watched his performance without listening to the judges praise him I think I would have agreed that overall he gave one of the best if not the best performance of the evening. He didn’t seem quite as dramatic last night as usual and he sounded better than past performance (I didn’t feel like he was screaming AS much). Also I am going to give him props on a great song choice…this is a familiar song to viewers but it is not as untouchable as “Beat It” “Bad” “Thriller” etc… Also from other articles I have read this performance was much better in person. So I give Adam the top spot this week but TRUST me he will not receive it week after week!
2. Matt
I am biased already and it is just week one of the finales but I can’t get enough of Matt on stage. I think he is so naturally talented. I love the tone to his voice and when he plays the piano while singing there isn’t anyone on the show that can touch him. I wanted to put him first on my list because I actually enjoyed his performance more than rest but I am trying to be impartial. I think Matt can SELL records he has a Justin Timberlake vibe to him but with a little more blues and less pop! I can’t wait to see more performances from him.
3. Danny
I was not familiar with this song (PYT) but I loved how it showed off Danny’s scratchy voice. Danny is extremely lovable and he will be here for a while. I want to also note that he did not discuss his wife tonight and American Idol didn’t say anything about it either…I think they are going to be extra careful about it now because of all the controversy however it makes me a little sad for Danny that he is unable to grieve the way that he may want to! But I am glad that American Idol has backed off a little. I loved Danny’s performance and I thought the dancing was endearing.
4. Alexis
I definitely think the judges didn’t give Alexis the praise she deserved she rocked Dirty Diana…I agree with Paula that she has to watch “over singing”. She has a big voice but she needs to make sure it is a controlled voice. I love Alexis and can’t wait to see more of her.
5. Lil
I am not sure what it is about Lil but she rubs me the wrong way…All that being said I thought she started off the show strong. It may have been a safe performance but I have to admit when given the challenge of Michael Jackson it isn’t a bad thing to lean towards “safe”. Good Job Lil but I hated her “mom” pants.
6. Kris
Well I am going to be the first to admit that I got a bad taste in my mouth during the top 36 because honestly I felt he had taken Matt’s place! However now that they are both in the top 13 I am glad! I liked Kris’ performance last night and I am glad that he brought out his guitar (I don’t know what it is but for some reason when someone plays an instrument I feel like they have more creditability) it really made his performance much better. Kris seems much more at ease with his guitar than before. Kris is definitely the heart throb for the tweens this season!
7. Allison
8. Anoop
Ok so I know that “Beat It” is Iconic, but I actually thought Anoop did really well!! I thoroughly enjoyed his performance. It was upbeat and fun and he had so much passion in his performance. I disagree with Kara that it felt disconnected…I felt that he connected with the audience. America loves Anoop and he will be around for a while.
9. Michael
Michael had a pretty good vocal performance but I felt it was pretty boring and forgettable. I don’t agree with Randy that it was the best of the night I am pretty sure Danny went before him and Lil and I thought both of them out shined Michael. I think Michael could be in trouble tonight and if not tonight definitely in weeks to come.
10. Megan
When Megan started singing I thought this was one of the smartest song choices of the night!!! I was so curious how Megan was going to pull off a MJ song but this was a great song for her to sing. I actually give her props for going out of her 5 note range and showing us something different, I was happy to hear it! However all that being said it wasn’t a great vocal and her whole appearance felt fake. I think she will make it through to next week but she needs to be careful the people that love her probably love her for her unique voice that she didn’t show much of last night.
11. Scott
I hate that I don’t love Scott because I think he is a really sweet guy and has overcome a lot in his life but I just don’t think he has the chops. I think he plays the piano beautifully and it is definitely a joy to watch him in his element but I don’t see him vocally competing with any of the top 7 on my list. He may make it through several more weeks but there will definitely be an exit for Scott in the future.
12. Jasmine
As most of you know I am not a big Jasmine fan. I really don’t like when girls come on the show and sing ballad after ballad. The one time that she sang an upbeat song it was AWFUL!! I think this shows she doesn’t have much depth to her vocals. She always feels like she is not quite on top of each note and that it is a struggle to hit any notes. She is young so I will cut her some slack but she doesn’t deserve to be in the top 12.
13. Jorge
So bored that I didn’t even watch the entire performance, it was on but I completely zoned out. I think Jorge hit his peek last week and he probably will be going home tonight. If he makes it through tonight I don’t think we will see much longer.
At the end of the show Ryan announced that there would be a twist tonight on the elimination and I haven’t seen any rumors about what this might be…he said it has to do with the judges. This has me very intrigued. Some are speculating that two contestants will be sent home but I don’t see how that changes everything so dramatically! Any ideas??
Bye Bye Stephanie! We all knew it was coming we just weren't sure when. I don't think there is a single person out there that truly believed that Jason was going to end up with Stephanie. I loved what he said to her in the end and I think all the viewers agreed... Stephanie was probably the sweetest person on the show but there was NO chemistry between the two. This past week was somewhat boring because all the "drama" girls are gone. Like I said last week I really like all the girls that are left but of course I have my favorites. You can tell that the girls really do like each other and that is nice to see on this show. Now that the girls won't be living together anymore I think the drama between them is over. We just have to wait and see what drama DeAnna causes and ofcourse the families this week are sure to bring some drama. Also don't believe all the spoilers you read out there bc I read one early in the season that said Stephanie was one of the final four bc cameras were spotted in her home town, obviously this was not true.
My husband and I just caught up with 24 on Monday and are loving this season thus far... I can't even express my excitement of bringing the "Dream Team" back together!! For those of you who are living under a rock I am talking about: Jack, Tony, Chloe, and Bill. I think this was a brilliant idea to bring these four lovable characters back since the 6th season of 24 lacked luster and viewers, mixing it up has really taken us back to the first few seasons of 24 that we loved! I am so excited to see how things play out this season. Tony was one of my favorite characters of all time and when his character "died" it was so disappointing to me, I am so excited to have him back. I think the Janis character at the FBI is kind of dump, they are trying to hard to make her just like Chloe and we all know there is only one Chloe and she is the best. There is going to be some face to face encounters between the two later in the season and I can't wait to see how it goes down, we all know Chloe is going to dominate! I also think it was great to have Bill back leading the team... It was a shame last season he was fired and I think he is a great leader to the bunch, all though we all know who really calls the shots JACK BAUER!!!!!
Just when I was starting to get bored with Gossip Girl this weeks episode came along and reminded me why I love this show so much...DRAMA! I was getting so bored with S & Lonely Boys on again off again relationship with all the mellow dramatic plot lines. I thought his relationship with Ms. Car was inappropriate from the very start.... And when they went to have coffee after the rumors were already swirling and she cried to him, CROSSED the line of inappropriate for sure! So when Blair sent the picture to the board I didn't feel to bad for Ms. Car bc it wasn't a professional way to behave but NOW that they have decided to keep her on staff after more consideration this is where the drama BEGINS!!!! They end the episode with Dan sleeping with Ms. Car (or so we are suppose to assume) and now that she hasn't been fired they will have to pretend it didn't happen or sneak around which I am so intrigue to see how it plays out. Will this be the end of S & Lonely boy forever? Also we know that Georgina is back at some point this season and I am on the edge of my seat waiting to see what trouble she stirs up. I am really not that intrigued by Chucks story line right now which is disappointing since he is one of my favorites! I don't really care what Bart was into in the past but maybe once it is revealed I will be pull in. Also I am ready for Nate and Vanessa to break up they are super boring and their relationship adds nothing to the show!
Does anyone know if Asa Barnes got cut last night??? There was one shot that looked like he did...He was the band teacher that sang Michael Jackson during his audition in Kansas City. I really liked him and hope he didn't already get cut!
WOW!!! This past weeks episode was pretty intense. Do we really think Izzy is going to die??? We knew the entire time that one of the likely reason that Izzy was seeing Denny was that she was sick but I must admit I never thought he would be there "for here." It seems like he was there to "take her home." Very interesting but this really doesn't explain everything that went down between them but I really really hope that she doesn't die. I like Izzy's character but more so for Alex. He finally found someone he really loves and he has been through so much I just really want for him to be able to be happy for at least a few months! This will be interesting to see the story line unfold. Will Izzy get to finally meet her daughter??? Will we meet her mother???
18. Lucas & Brooke (One Tree Hill) They aren't together in 2008 but people love brucas and the fact they have survived as close friends after all the drama they have been through.
Q: How long were you married?
Last nights episode of the Bachelor was a pretty normal start to another season of the show. The one twist was when each bachelorette had to vote for one bachelorette to "leave". After all the votes were calculated Megan was voted to leave, which ended up meaning leaving with a rose, WHICH WAS STUPID!!! But I guess they have to throw some twists in here and there to keep it interesting. The biggest twist came in the preview for this season.... DeAnna is coming back!!!! I really need some feed back on this one, I have to know what ya'll are thinking about this. I never was a big DeAnna fan (especially with everything that went down with Graham) but this seems over the top. If she really had feelings for him after the show you would think she would just call him and talk to him about it.... But this feels like she is missing the spot light and attention and wants it all back on her.... Hmmmm.
Have I mentioned how much I LOVE this show!!! So after a long break they are back at it and new drama seems to keep unfolding. We finally found out the BIG secret that Lilly has been keeping and I must admit it was quite the let down... I really thought it was going to be bigger drama than Lilly giving up their child for adoption. However it definitely does open up some new twists and turns in the drama. Can Serena and Dan date any more and if it is weird now then will it ever seem ok for them to date??? Could this be the end of the happy couple for good??? Also is their any hope for Rufus and Lilly since she has been keeping this HUGE secret from him for all these years, could he ever bring himself to trust her again?
Last nights episode was so sad but I LOVED IT!!!! Like Rufus said sometimes tragedy brings people together or pushes them apart..... So lets start with my favorite story line...CHUCK & BLAIR. I felt very badly for Chuck this entire episode. Even though technically Lilly, Serena and Eric are his "family" he really is ALONE. Lilly and Bart just got married a few months ago and Chuck doesn't have a REAL relationship with any of them except Serena and that is more of a crazy friendship. Anyways no one else knew his father like he did, probably no one else loved him like he did and no one else has been there with him his entire life.... Chuck has had a rough go at it and I felt truly sorry for him last night. Blair did an amazing job of standing by him and showing & TELLING him how much she cared for him. For two years we have been waiting for Blair & Chuck to exchange those three little words and last night Blair finally made the leap and said it! I know for a lot of people they are extremely upset that Chuck didn't say those words back BUT I am glad...Chuck was in such a dark place and I don't want that to be the place he is at when he says them. However I thought Blair's timing was perfect Chuck really needed to know someone truly loved HIM at that moment. He felt so alone and knowing that someone out there was thinking of him I am sure helped him in many ways...The scene at the very end where Chuck is in Blair's room and he looks up at her...He looked so broken, so sad, so real!!! I loved that moment between the two of them...put all their silly games aside and this is who they are and they LOVE each other... Ofcourse there has to be drama so Blair awakes the next morning to an empty bed but Chuck will be back.
Ok so I am loving the Gabby/Carlos story line so far... I love how they are sweet to each other...it is such a change from past years.
IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED LAST NIGHTS EPISODE DON'T READ!!!!
This weeks episode of Gossip Girl also made me extremely happy much like Grey's. I love getting to know Chuck Bass more and more and I loved the end when he told Blair to say those three little words, three syllables, eight letters... It is so obvious that they both love each other but are too scared to admit it... But it is what makes the show so intriguing. Next I love the story line developing between Nate and Dan... I think that will be a great friendship, also I have always wanted Jenny and Nate to be together and I think this is going to open that door. Next weeks preview looks pretty interesting, hopefully we will still like Jenny when it is over but I am excited to see Willa on next week's episode. Serena has been getting on my nerves lately so I think that her character needs a revamp or new story lines.... What are your thoughts?
Thanks to my friend Mary I have attached the preview for LOST!!! Get excited the new season doesn't start until January but this preview looks awesome! :)
Ok so there are many rumors floating around right now about Gossip Girl (some of these might be considered SPOILERS but since I don't know if they are true I am going to share them). First rumor is about Vanessa and Chuck hooking up or at least getting flirty in episodes to come, this was kind of given away in the last preview but I am against it completely! As all of you know I am a huge "CHAIR" fan and I really don't like Vanessa so I hope this comes to an end quickly. Next there will be a funeral on the show, which obviously hints to a death. I am thinking the death will probably come to a "not needed" parent but will cause some drama. I think possibly Bart Bass (but I am not sure about that since we just discovered some about Chucks past I don't think they would kill him right now but who knows) or Allison Humphrey. What is your guess?? It has been hinted that there is a love triangle forming between Vanessa, Nate and Jenny (I actually enjoy the idea of Nate and Jenny). Also Jenny's new friend is suppose to enter the picture in the next couple episodes... YAY I am ready for Kaitlin Cooper :)
Ode to Chuck's scarf:
Attention all Dawson's Creek fans: James Van Der Beek is returning to NC to play a director interested in doing a movie based on Lucas book.... Interesting. The character seems to be very similar to the character James played on Dawson's Creek. I am excited to see James on OTH, I would love to see other alums of Dawson's visit the show. For those of you who don't know OTH is filmed in the same city as Dawson's Creek. On the link below you are asked which teen drama you think is better Dawson's Creek or One Tree Hill, it was a tough one but I had to go with my first love Dawson's Creek...Which do you prefer?
Wow there is so much going on right now with the Hills... Lauren has been saying this is the final season of the hills but MTV is claiming that all the main characters will be in the next season of the Hills (which I think they are already filming, not sure). So Yay I think there will be at least one more season of the Hills but I will let you know when I know for sure. Next at Lauren's fashion show Lauren and Heidi were spotted having a heart to heart conversation, does this mean they made up? All I have to say is I hope the cameras were there to catch the interaction or at least they reenact it for the fans to see!!! I think if they are friends again then Spencer will have to keep his distance while Lauren is around. Audrina and Heidi have been spotted multiple times together lately so are they new besties??? Finally Whitney has started filming her new show The City so her departure from The Hills must be soon. Will you watch The City??
Ok so how last weeks finale??? Crazy that they ended it with the band broken up and no news on the future.. Maybe this really is reality TV!! I love Aundrea!! (Just throwing that out there). Aubrey is so crazy, she doesn't get it - I just want to reach through the TV and scream stop talking!!! She annoys me so badly but causes good TV. I hear that Making the Band is going to have some more episodes in the spring that will show what will happen now but I haven't seen a preview or anything so I am not sure but I am extremely interested in whats next for Danity Kane?
Ok I just wanted to really quickly say that I think Edie's husband was married to the woman that Mike and Susan killed in the car and that was his wife and child that died. I think he probably went crazy after it happen and was admitted and when they released him they were still worried he was going to hurt himself or someone else bc he had so much anger inside. These are my thoughts, what are yours???
Ode to Alex's black wife beater...this is kind of funny :)
I don't watch this show but I wanted to give those of you that do the break down of rankings according to TV Guide:
Michael got # 8 on best male fashion statements with his tattoos.... Looking at this picture just reminds me of how bad A** he is... I know I use those words a lot to describe him but that is who I think of when I think of Bad A**.
So sad!!! I am so super sad after last weeks episode. I was very excited when Evelyn stole Johnny's key the week before (I am completely against the alliance). I hate that Johnny won back his key, I really thought Derek or Cohutta would beat him, I honestly don't think he is that great of a competitor. Anyways I am also saddened that Derek has teamed up with the alliance but I guess it was best for him and I really want Derek to win. So now that Johnny has his key "throne" back what is next for the alliance. We know there is at least one more elimination left and they really want Johanna to have a key but the alliance has been so sketchy the entire game and I am wondering how everyone is going to react when they realize they have been taken by them. Let me explain what I am talking about.... 8 people get keys at the end of the challenge and 8 people get on boats (4 on each boat). What I know is the following people have keys:
Ok so I am simply loving GG more and more with each episode that passes...There were so many great things about last nights episode. Of course I am so biased at this point, but I love the direction that things are moving with Chuck (I feel the same way about Alex on Grey's). We got a little peek at who Chuck is last night and where some of his anger or distance comes from. I love how we got just a taste and now we are going to see some awful things come out of him. D better watch out bc no one wants an enemy like Chuck Bass! Another great thing about last nights episode was NO Vanessa, I am sorry but her character simply annoys me, however I did miss Nate in last nights episode. I love the story line right now between Blair and Serena - I want them to be friends but having the two Queen B's fighting for the title makes for much better drama! You know it is good TV when the entire show you are going back and forth between sides. I found myself jumping on B's team and S's team at various points in the show...Ultimately I am TEAM B (mainly bc I am Team CHAIR) but Blair was such a B**** last night and I loved every minute of it. I also love that J and B may have formed their own little bond at the end of the episode...but what is Jenny going to do just quit school??? Hmmm I am not sure how I feel about this story line yet. Also I am so curious when Jenny's new friend played by Willa Hollard is going to enter the picture... I am ready for her to come and cause some drama! Until next week....XOXO
You would think it might get old watching Michael Scofield save the day over and over again..but it DOESN'T. Once again Michael thought of the greatest plans to get another card holder and get Mahone out of Jail...I was feeling bad for Mahone at first, I at least want him to kill Wyatt before he dies (which is funny bc usually I am not a supporter of the death penalty but on TV I say kill him). Anyways I loved the horse racing scene and can't wait till next weeks episode when T-Bag and Scofield are working together...what is Michael going to do???
Oh goodness! Is Spencer serious?? He must be putting it on for the Camera...surely no one is that rude and disrespectful to the parents of their significant other...SURELY! Do we think Holly and Heidi's mom are trying to get rid of Spencer??? I think we all hope so! Stephanie was so annoying this week, she just kept lying left and right... I am sure she was getting confused in her own web of lies! It is so funny bc if she had just asked Lauren if she could go to dinner with Doug she probably wouldn't have minded at all. Next week Holly, Heidi and Spencer have a face off and I sure hope Holly wins...Also we find out that it is true that Lauren and Heidi won't be able to mend their friendship while Spencer is still in the picture. At this point I think that Heidi is going to choose Spencer over her family and friends but maybe one day soon she will come to her senses. Also we know Audrina moves out so I am counting down the days until that episode airs.
The big premiere was this past weekend and it was very interesting to see where the characters were 4 years later... I was dying the entire episode to find out what happened to Mike...I knew he didn't die and I figured that the other woman in the accident died but I wasn't sure about the Child or Why that caused Mike and Susan to break up.... Obviously eventually they will get back together but the question is what drama will they endure before that day comes? I loved the part of the show where Tom kicked off the mirror of the car but had already placed an order for another mirror that was a classic moment!!! I am also sitting on the edge of my seat to find out who Edie's new husband is after...Any ideas??? I have been really thinking about it, obviously it has to be one of the main characters, right? So to me that would be Bree, Susan, Lynette, Gabbie, or Katherine...I guess it is possible that it could be Carlos, Tom or Mike but I highly doubt it so now the question is what story line could they have that would pin him against one of those characters??? I honestly am not sure... I would love any thoughts ya'll might have.
So MUCH drama on B&S this week lets break it down:Tommy and Holly fire Kevin and his Law firm even though Sarah and Soul told them they didn't agree with the decision: the quote that really stood out in this situation was when Kevin told Tommy "Don't you think Dad wanted me to be part of the family business when he hired me." At first I felt a little bad for Tommy bc I know the company is struggling financially and it must be hard to make that decision but what Tommy needs to realize is that his dad started this business as a family business, to keep all the family involved... And his dad would not fire Kevin I almost think he might let the company fall before he made that decision. As far as Kitty and Sarah's fight I think it was blown up way too much. I think Sarah should have been up front with Kitty but it shouldn't cause so much anger between the two. Next Rebeca and Justin- I agree with Justin they just need to go for it bc it might be worth it in the end.
GA premiered last night (as I am sure most of you know). I thought the episode was kind of boring....usually during Grey's I am hooked to the screen and can't wait for the next moment. I felt the episode was kind of anti-climactic. Rose being pregnant was made into this huge deal and it was a joke that had us going for about 1 second.... And I think Rose made her final exit last night when she apologized to Derek and got on the elevator (at least she didn't fall down the elevator shaft for her exit). Next, in the preview we saw Meredith crying out and saying no... this ends up being a short dream at the beginning of the episode (which I thought was kind of stupid and mellow dramatic). Next we have Denny's return, this has been talked about all summer and once again what a let down....Maybe that won't be the last we see of him but I was extremely disappointed overall with the episode. Finally of course I am disappointed with how things went down with Alex & Izzy. I do love Alex and his misunderstood soul but I am ready for him to face his past and let us all in on who he really is.... keeping my fingers crossed this season brings more out of him.
Wow I waited a long time to write about my Monday shows.... Loved it loved it loved it! I love that Serena and Dan are at war, as much as I want them to be a couple and in the end they will, it makes for a more entertaining show! Not nearly enough "Chair" in this last episode but right now I am wondering why Chuck so badly wants Blair dethroned from her spot has Queen B? Does he just want to hurt her or does he want her to need him in some way?? Hmmm still figuring that one out. Next weeks episode looks really good with Fashion week BUT the writers need to be careful with how far off the edge Serena falls bc she is suppose to be the lovable character of the show and she isn't too far from being hated (In my opinion)! S better watch her back though bc hell has no fury like Queen B's revenge! :)
I know that the loss of Q was very tragic and we shouldn't just skim over it quickly but then again I don't want to walk away from every episode of OTH depressed so I am ready for it to pass over (only bc he is a character, obviously if he was a real person I wouldn't say to get over it, but how often we forget they aren't real). Anyways I am glad that Brooke finally opened up about her attack I just wish she would open up to her "family" about it. I was so SUPER bored with the Peyton story line this week, I am going to be honest I DON'T CARE if that guy is her dad or not.... They have dragged on Peyton's parents story lines for 4 years now and I just DON'T care!! Deb and Skills make me sick, seriously why is this even a story line??? I absolutely loved the face off between Brooke and Victoria.... The best quote "Victoria your dream came true now you have your own business and no daughter." Loved it, GO BROOKE!!! We didn't see much of Nanny Carrie and Dan this week but after the preview for next weeks episode I think we will be seeing a lot more of them. Lets talk about the preview for next week: SERIOUSLY!!!! It looked like a crummy (really crummy) horror flick, I hope it isn't as cheesy and stupid as the preview made it look... I guess we will find out soon!
Thoughts and Comments
Loved Lo this episode!!! I know people are probably tired of hearing me praise Lo but now that she has gotten all the bad press I am really watching her interaction with people on the show and listening to her in interviews and I am still very much TEAM LO. This episode when Audrina and Lo run into Heidi at the club Audrina was all chatty with Heidi and she even met up with her the next day! Lo stuck up for her friend and felt very uncomfortable with the whole situation. Also Lo and Audrina went to the club together and from what we saw Audrina totally turned her back to Lo and ignored her. I understand that Audrina and Heidi were friends and she has the freedom to be nice to Heidi, I don't really have a problem with that...what I do have a problem with is that when she is with Heidi she talks down about Lauren (she isn't positive, too much drama etc.) then when she is with Lauren she talks about how she doesn't really like Heidi.... Don't like this at all.... I think she is just trying to stay in the drama to keep her pay checks coming.... Meanwhile Lo is truly Lauren's best friend and has Lauren's back during all the chaos! Now lets break down the whole Stephanie saga.... I don't think it is the end of the world for her to go on a date with Doug, since it seems Lauren and Doug's relationship wasn't that intense...HOWEVER...Stephanie should have definitely ok'd it with Lauren first and maybe waited longer (however...we don't really know how much time passed in between).... I think this is extremely sketchy on Stephanie's part, plus saying oh if Lauren finds out we will just tell her we are friends (HELLO you are being filmed, stupid). Anyways it will be interesting to see how Stephanie climbs out of this hole.
Seriously Kenley has to GO!! I know some of you are big fans of hers and majority of the time I really enjoy her designs but she is so arrogant and rude! Someone told me she is just confident and that is what it takes to be a designer BUT there is a big difference in being confident and just being a B****! On next weeks episode when she said "I wasn't trying to be elegant Heidi" WHAT!!! I really want her to get kicked off ASAP. I really like Leanne and Jerrell, Corto is not my favorite bc she always seems annoyed and tired but I usually really like her designs. Oh and I hated this weeks theme....Just because I really didn't like any of the outfits!!! Boo for the music theme.
Isis is out! I agree with the judges 100% on this one.... her pictures have been average and like I said last week when she is in the room she doesn't present herself/himself like a model. I think this was the right decision. I was a little sad to see Hannah go, bc I liked her but her walk was terrible! I think my favorite is Analeigh but I also like Samantha and Laurens pics thus far!
The other day I was thinking...it seems most of the people these days on the challenges that call themselves "Vets" aren't Vets to me and I started to wonder why? Well Here is what I came up with: the original Vets or cast consisted of people like: Beth, Veronia, Rachel, Mike, Mark, Julie, Coral etc.... These people are truly Vets to me and that is bc they started doing the Challenges anywhere from 6-10 years ago (that is a long time)....During the first years of the show it would air once every year and sometimes just every other year so a lot of time passed between challenges....Ever since 2004 they have been doing 2 Challenges a year which means some people now have done 4 challenges in 2 years which make them technically a "Vet" even though they still seem like fresh meat to me! Does that make sense??? Plus I am just sad to see the torch being passed from the previous Vets to the "new vets" including: Johnny, Kenny, Robyn, Tina, CT, Diem, Brad etc. I would love to see a return from Timmy, Coral, Mike, Mark, Veronica, or Alton. This season I was behind the true Vets to me which included: Abram, Rachel, and Derrick... but two of them are already gone so I am pulling for Derrick!!! Also I would love to see a return of Wes to the Challenge especially if Johanna was on it bc I think that would cause lots of Drama and we all know that is what the show is about!!! Get to work MTV that is what we are hoping for next go round.
Serena and Dan - Will they are won't they push aside their petty differences and realize that those small things don't matter? During this episode once again I was pretty annoyed by them.... I don't know why I don't ever seem to gravitate towards the central couple of a show but maybe it is more predictable than the other couples of the show...We all know when the series ends that Serena & Dan will be together, now the only question is what plot lines with the writers come up with to keep pulling them apart until that day comes? I thought the story line between these two was tired and boring, haven't we seen this one before?? But next week looks pretty intriguing,Will Serena turn back to her old self for Dan to see?
Heidi and Lauren - Will they are won't they be friends again? MTV did a great job last night trying to make us believe their is hope for Lauren and Heidi to rekindle there friendship. As far as I can tell Heidi and Lauren probably will have a difficult if not impossible time minding their friendship as long as Spencer is still in the picture. And as we all saw in recent photos of Heidi's incredibly "real" birthday with Spencer they are still very much an item. So will Heidi and Lauren ever give their friendship another chance? My guess is not any time soon!
The episode was, hopefully, the depressing episode of the season. For some reason OTH always loves to have atleast one episode each season that is very depressing and maybe a little too real for the viewers. In years past there was Ellie and Keith deaths not to mention Luke's coma and Karen's coma...The crash with Rachel and Nathan's Uncle. The love sorrowful drama on OTH.
The Gang - Will they are won't they be able to get all 6 cards? Ofcourse they will it is Michael Scofield- he can pretty much do anything. But new elimante was added at the end of this weeks episode... will they be able to work as well on the run or will they just kill the guy who is after them?
So I am already sick of the "will they, won't they" plot line between Serena & Dan...Just get together for a little while before someone comes and breaks you up, which we all know it is going to happen. So we knew from the preview for this week that Catherine was the dutches and Marcus's mom (step-mom), but what we did not know was how quickly Blair would find out about Nate and Catherine's affair.... I did find it a little strange that Blair wasn't more disturbed by the situation but in Blair like fashion she used the scandal to further her own scheme. I love that Chuck is simply pining for Blair, I am so interested to see what he will do next to get Blair's attention or will he give up soon (not according to the preview for next week). The preview for next weeks episode makes me wish it was MONDAY again today!!! If you missed the preview or would just like to watch it again and again click the link below.
SO MUCH DRAMA THIS WEEK!! So I just want everyone to find out about Brooke so badly so they can rally around her and help her through this hard time.... Brooke has rallied around so many of her friends and helped them out:
Since we are on the subject of DRAMA, lets talk about last nights episode of Prison Break. This show makes everything that could possibly go wrong, go wrong. When Michael and computer wiz got trapped in that room during the fire drill I thought seriously?? Of course Lincoln wasn't having any of that and showed up in the nick of time with an ax. The hardest part of last nights episode was Mohan's story line...it is so depressing watching this man fall apart and we have been doing it for years but now they have pushed him so close to the edge by killing his son, my heart hurts for him (I know it is just a show but you know what I mean, real people go through these kinds of things). He did such a great job last night portraying his emotions. I am so glad that Lincoln overheard his conversation bc I thought it was important that someone know what was going on with him, and it was appropriate for Lincoln to hear since he was the one that has been worried about his son for the past year. Also how creepy is T-bag, well he has always been creepy but I am so excited about next weeks episode and the encounter between T-bag and Michael, I have been waiting for it all season. So far I have been impressed with the episodes this season I hope they continue to entertain me!
Don't have much to say about The Hills: Glad Lauren & Audrina finally talked it out, I agree that Audrina doesn't "seem" to try very hard at their friendship. Spencer is a jerk and needs to get over himself, Heidi should definitely kick him to the curb but we all know she won't. Still very much TEAM LO!!!!!
